The Lucan St. Patricks Day Parade was established in 1991. The first meeting was held in the “Parade Room” in Lucan Garda Station. The parade is organised by community volunteers as a not-for-profit event, with all funds raised dedicated to providing a free and enjoyable day out for families in Lucan. In addition to the parade we organise free face painting, clowns and balloons, music and other entertainment in the village and along the parade route.
